"Earth and Sky"

Downtown Calgary
NOTE: Downtown caches are tough on GPS co-ordinates. Bring your GPSr along but also note the location from Google Maps in the GC website.

Take some time and enjoy the art. My favorite fossils can be found here. Take some pictures and post them to your log.

To log this cache, sign log (see hint below) and please e-mail me (don't post to your log) the following information (this part is optional but I'd love to see your answers!!)........

1). What type of 'stone' is used for the cone?
2). How many 'bronze' fossils are found here? (read plaque carefully)
3). What type of fossil are they?
Bonus Question - What was North America known as in Native American culture?

Wander around the area. There is some great turtle art a few paces to the north. During business hours, you can view more art through the doors located about 30 metres to the northeast.
