I am not sure who Ida Jo Moore was, and have not had any luck in searching for info on her. A plaque at the park says, "Inspired by her love for children Created through her untiring efforts Reflecting her generous and loving nature." Dedicated 1955 I originally hid this cache in 2006 and have just not submitted it until now.

Sitting adjacent to Wadley Barron Park across “A” Street, this park was named after Ida Jo Moore, a resident whose home backed up to the parkland behind her home. Ms. Moore paid for a brick fence, playground equipment and landscaping for the park, which was conveyed to the city in 1941.
