the Hubert and Ducky duo strike again!
At last year's Cache Cow event, the Great Cache Cow Race (GC10PGC), we managed to sneak away possessing the Cache Cow itself. This means that it is our turn to host the event this year.
This year's event will be held at the Jenny Ridge Picnic Area in LBL, Friday March 14th, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. We will meet for a potluck at the picnic area (we'll bring plates, cups, plasticware, etc) hopefully have some door prizes, and generally meet up with old, and new, friends.
Once the sun sets, we plan to have two night caches set up. These will be our first. Last year's Cache Cow Event was set up to be a race between KTAG and RVGC. If we have enough representatives from both groups, we can have a timed race for these caches. If not, we shall proceed however we feel works best.
3:30 was chosen because that gives us a couple of hours before sunset. Don't worry if you're a little late. However, we do plan to be heading out for the night caches after it becomes fully dark, so be prepared! (This means bring flashlights and have fresh batteries for them. Also, we will have to drive to get to the starting points, so have a little bit of gas reserved for this.)
