Located on a lookout, right next to a carpark, no walking involved, walking trails near loacation if you are keen.
Cache is a small clear lunch box, inside is a notebook, pens, screwdriver, stubby holder and some maps of the local area.
Enjoy the panoramic views of the Ravensthorpe ranges, Views of the Barrens in the Fitzgerald River National Park and the old elverton mine.
Heading back along the road from the lookout there is a turn to the left. This road is 4wd only,I would recomend walking. along this trail is some nice veiws of the surounding farmlands old mine workings and rocky outcrops.
If your in for a walk,along the same trail down the hill you will find the old train line 33 36.536s 120 08.488e. this has since been converted to a walking trail, it runs from Ravensthorpe to Hopetoun.enjoy.
