This cache is near one of the nice trails in Hoffman Park. Go to the top of the ridge above the rock wall – it’s just into the woods a very short distance. Should be decent access to get to the top on either side of the rocks (unless you decide to bushwhack through the woods). Container is large for a small, but small for a regular (did that make sense?). Please do not climb on the rock wall as it's a bit fragile. Enjoy the area!
Maynard “Spike” Hoffman Park is a gem in River Falls. Alot of recreation opportunities here, including camping, skateboard park, baseball, soccer, ice skating, sledding, and much more.
The Boy Scout Mound park trails are a great place to walk any time of year (or cross-country ski in winter). Ample parking at the coordinates below. Big trees, scenic vistas, and interesting rocks can be found as well as some creative structures constructed by local scout troops. Enjoy the stroll and views along these trails.
