An Event Cache in the
Riverland
This is the first of what is hoped will
become a series of event caches in the Riverland in which we will
highlight a Riverland location. The first event will be conducted
in Loxton. The event is for Riverland cachers to meet and greet
each other and put faces to names. However, if you're prepared to
travel, you're welcome to join us!
When will we be doing it?
The event will be conducted on
Saturday, 5 April 2008 commening at
2.00pm at the above listed co-ordinates. The event
incorporates a quick cache hunt followed by the meet and greet
dinner. The cache hunt should be completed within two and a half
hours.
To encourage participants to not follow
the list of co-ordinates in the order provided, each cache will
have a small "First to Find" prize.
If you will be attending, we would
appreciate it if you could bring ONE "First to Find" prize to the
value of $5.00. Each cache will have a "First to Find" number in
it. The teams with the "First to Find" numbers will select a prize
with the team with number 1 selecting first, number 2, selecting
second, and so on until all "First to Find" prizes have been
chosen. Any prizes left over will be distributed during the
dinner.
Where is the dinner?
The dinner will be at the Loxton Club on
Bookpurnong Road. The "winner" of the event will be annouced during
the dinner which will commence at 6.30pm. The Loxton Club is very
child friendly.
Are you interested?
You may or may not want to do the cache
hunt. When logging your intentions, please advise whether you will
participate in the cache hunt, or, if you will only be attending
the meet and greet dinner.
