A series of 10 easy caches which can be done individually or as a circular walk – get some exercise and enjoy this beautiful part of the county
The WWW series can be achieved as a circular walk - 6.7km - starting from either car park and going in either direction. We started at CP1 and went in numerical order to get the ploughed fields out of the way at the start and a nice level track on the home straight.
Some could be done as cache and dash if doing individually but please don’t block farm tracks or gateways.
The Weavers Way is a long distance footpath between Cromer and Gt Yarmouth and takes its name from the cloth industry that was once a major enterprise in the area.
This part of the Weavers Way lies to the southwest of North Walsham, which was the centre of the cottage weaving industry introduced by Flemish immigrants in the Middle Ages. It makes use of the disused railway line.
Brambles and nettles grow very quickly and we don’t know where they will flourish so gloves may be useful.
Small pencil in cache but leads do get broken so pen may be useful!!
