Geocache Description:

DO NOT PARK ON I-164!! I have included the coords for parking. If you exit north on to Green River Road, It will be the 1st road to your left. If you are going south on Green River Road, take the last road to the right before I-164. You are taking a 415 feet walk to the base of the Evansville-Vanderburgh Levee System. See the website listed just below cache size above.

When you are driving on I-164 from just east of Green River Road to Highway 41 you are driving on a levee. Please come get this cache to see the levee up close.
(visit link)

You will also drive by New Haven Subdivision. This is a Habitat for Humanity project and is what I think the first time Habitat has attempted a subdivision of homes. This subdivision is for the qualified families who lost their mobile homes as a result of a devastating November 6, 2005 tornado. The tornado took the lives of several people in a mobile home park just south of this same levee about 1 mile away.

This is a small container wrapped in Camo tape with some small stuffed animals, a pencil, and a logbook. The FTF can take thier choice of one item without leaving something. After that standard caching rules apply. Take something, leave something.
