East of Mt Richardson Summit North Canterbury
A 400ml green container wedged in a rock formation 13m off the track.
Access involves a serious hike of 1.5 - 3 hours uphill.
Start at Glentui Bush Picnic Area West of Rangiora. Quickest access is via Mt Richardson Summit track - NB cache 1048 is enroute. This is an alpine environment, enter with appropriate caution & safety considerations. GPS Coverage deminishes occasionally under trees East of the summit but is good as you near the cache. A logbook, pencil & sharpener are in a Ziploc bag. When placed the container held a new CR2032 Battery - $AUD2 coin - Bangles INTENDED FOR THE FIRST UNDER 20yr old FEMALE TO GET THERE Get the kids out hiking.
