Geocache Description:

February 29 is a date that occurs only every four years, and is called leap day. This day is added to the calendar in leap years as a corrective measure, because the earth does not orbit around the sun in precisely 365.000 days.

If you're daring enough, you could try and leap over Sand Creek. Sure, the water level may look low at the moment, but what is upstream? If there is a thunderstorm, even a hundred miles away, it could cause a flash flood here. I highly recommend you take another route so you don't become a victim. Two boys died in Cottonwood Creek a couple of years ago because of flash flooding and this creek is no different.

If you're looking for the PotOGold caches, this is another you can do on the way.
