We thought since some of the out of town geocachers are coming
into Saskatoon for the Sport & Leisure Show it would be a great
time to get together. This event starts at 9pm so that anyone
volunteering at the SGA booth at the
Sport & Leisure Show will be able to attend. We figure that
with the amount of Cachers we've run into out in the dark an event
that starts this late should be ok.
For new geocachers this is a great time to come and pick the
brains of experienced cachers with any questions you may have. Feel
free to ask anything from questions about how to use your GPS to
dealing with the computer end of things to what kind of batteries
work the best or how to properly log trackable items. Think of it
as your chance for some Geocaching 101.
For experienced cachers this is a great time to come out &
meet some new cachers. Its also a great time to get some hints on
that nasty mystery cache that is eluding you, chat with friends or
find out who the heck is behind that strange caching name you see
in the logs. As always its also a great time to discover trackables
& get yourself some of those cool little icons.
... heck, you get a smiley just for attending..
