Bissextile cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Quiddler: This cache had a good, long run. At a little over seven years it far surpassed any of its predecessors in the site.

I checked the cache yesterday and found that, as predicted, it has been muggled, along with all but a scrap of the remains of the tree it, as well as my very first cache, was hidden in.

It's time to put this cache to rest and replace it with a new one.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Silver Creek Community Park. Please park in the designated lot within the park and stroll down the perimeter walking trail to the area of the cache. If you park elsewhere you will have to cross private property and some choo choo tracks to get to the cache. You're looking for a Saccharomyees cerevisiae tube swathed in black tape.

You could be forgiven if you assumed, inasmuch as it is I that named this cache, that the name is a double entendre. I hope you are not too disappointed to learn that it is not.

Bissextile refers to a leap year or the extra day falling in a leap year, such as the day this cache was placed.

This cache is the latest in a series that I've hidden in this area. The first being my very first cache hidden. All, in their turn, have fallen prey to muggles, as I am sure will be the fate of this cache eventually. So come and get this one while it lasts!
