*********************CONGRATULATIONS TO joneus for FTF!!!********************* ____________________________________________________________________________ From Rt. 156 (Neck Road) in Old Lyme turn west onto Ferry Road; the launch site is just before the DEP Headquarters sign. Plenty of parking available. This is a two-part multicache; the micro will provide you with the final coordinates. No steep climbs are required.
I’ve long known about the DEP Headquarters here and their wonderful boardwalk, but just recently became aware of this Old Lyme boat launch. It appears you can launch right from the beach area and during the warm weather months a floating dock is installed at the end of the walkway. At any time of the year you can just come down and enjoy the view.
