Geocache Description:

This cache forms part of the Wayfarer's Walk series, started by Dogastus.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Wayfarer's Walk is a long distance path which starts at Inkpen Beacon, this is also an end point of The Test Way. It is close to the site of Combe Gibbet and follows a meandering route to Emsworth, some 70 miles distant. The path starts in Berkshire, but most of it is in the county of Hampshire. The path runs close to the highest points in both Berkshire and Hampshire as witnessed by the nearby trig points. Parts of the walk can get muddy and deeply rutted whereas other parts are an easier terrain. I hope you enjoy the wonderful views from this scenic path.
Please note that none of the caches require that you climb over fences other than by stiles. Also be aware of any electrified fences.

Container is a small sandwich box.

As the map gives no obvious name to this part of the Wayfarer's Walk , I named it after chatting to a retired gamekeeper I met close to this spot. We had a wonderful chat and he told me about the Eel House which had been restored .
