Geocache Description:


This cache is in a nice wayside with plenty of parking. From this site one can see a Greek Revival Style (1850) house which is now an inn, visit a memorial to a famous soldier and statesman, and read about an academy from which W&L University evolved. A short walk will take you to two very old churches, an 1866 home, and a cemetery. Small. BYOP.
