Another cache in the Center Point WMA near Nutter Fort, WV.
If there is an abandoned vehicle, machinery, building, or anything else man made and forgotten in the woods, I seem to stumble across it. I found this old bulldozer while attempting to bushwack my way to GCWG2V, Wanna Go To The Can In Center Branch. It’s sitting in a swampy area that is overgrown with brush. It’s not far from the parking area depending on the route you take. You can get there in a round about way by road or you can bushwack. The road was in good shape the last time I was here but it looks like bulldozers have it really torn up again.
This is a WMA so expect lots of mud, briers, swamps, steep terrain, and of course rotting deer carcasses in the parking area after deer season. This is a public hunting area so it would be best to avoid this area during hunting season or go on Sunday.
