Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.
If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

A small geocache located in Phoenix.
Looking at maps of the PHX metro area on geocaching.com, it appears that W. Phoenix doesn't get much love. Geocaches seem to be few and far between. In an attempt to remedy that, I have placed this cache in a location that really caught my eye the first time I saw it (it's hard not to notice).
On weekdays during certain time windows, this area can get quite busy and stealth might be almost impossible. At other times, not another person will be in sight, save for the traffic speeding along too fast to notice.
Parking is located just south of the cache site near local businesses.
The cache is small and can only hold small and flat trade items (geocoins, coins small keychains, etc.). Although there might be some "auxiliary" room, depending on what you're trading. You'll see.
As always, bring you're own pen.
I cannot recommend this one for younger kids only because of the proximity to a busy thoroughfare and the small width of the sidewalk. Judge the risk for yourself and plan accordingly (for example, keeping them in strollers, on a leash.......sort of a joke.)
