Geocache Description:

.30 cal ammo can

I have always been intrigued by this part of Annadel. How the bright trail gets dark and spooky back here. And I thought it would be a nice place to hide a cache. Upon closer inspection of the area I came across many holes that they had dug to excavate cobblestones many years ago.

This cache is in just such a hole.

Be forwarned this cache is not near any trail and you will have to bushwhack your way to it. Once there I think you will enjoy this little spot and it's history.

As always when hiking in Annadel, be watchful of snakes. I did not see any but this is prime habitat for them.

The cache is full of all kinds of cool swag and a geocoin and TB to start it off.
