Geocache Description:

A small cache located in the Polk-Switzer park, 7 acres of open green space in the village of Menands on Elmwood Avenue, just off Rt.32. Cache holds a logbook and pencil, and may be able to accommodate small coins.

In the seemingly endless search for new locations to place caches, I discovered this previously overlooked park. Well, ok, previously overlooked by me at least. It seemed easy enough to get to at first glance, but there was a twist. Access wasn’t where it at first appeared to be. But find it we did. After all, isn’t that half the fun of finding these places? And now that we have, it seems all too obvious every time we pass that way. How could we have missed it before?

There’s no math to do for this cache, no puzzles, no multi parts - just a small cache in a small unknown park. The cache is there waiting for you, now go out and play in the park.
