This is a fun little cache on a public easement on a road along the Mississippi River. There is a pulloff very close to the cache. Please park safely and hunt the cache safely. It is not necessary to step on the roadway to retrieve this cache.
When the weather is warm, my original hiking pal-now-geocacher, IowaGerd, jogs down this hill and back home. Some days, his wife, Freda, drives him down to this spot and he jogs one way back home. He is 10 years older than me, and runs the 7-mile Bix race in just over an hour every year. I do not.
At any rate, this is a picturesque area, more or less, depending on the time of the year. (How can you get a bad spot on the river?) Have fun!
