This is an in town cache at a small little known park in Minocqua.
Cache is a black circular screw on cap about 2 inches across. If the Minocqua Museum is open take the time to stop in. Dorwin Park used to take up the entire corner, about 3 years ago the town moved the museum to the park reducing the size of the park by 1/2. The Museum is free of charge when open and has great history of the Minocqua Area. Minocqua was a logging town before the tourists arrived. The muesem also has the history of the Minocqua Bats ski show the first ski show in the country which is also free. It is a nice quiet spot in the middle of town to take a few moments to enjoy.
I listed this as handicapped assessible because it is an easy park for a wheel chair. To get to the cache though would require assistance. A wheel chair could get within 10 feet of the cache
This cache would be easy to do with kids and is wheel chair friendly. It is located up high so is available year round
Dorwin Park is on the location of Art Dorwin's home. He was a interesting local character who donated the land. Among other things he was a map maker and his lake maps can still be bought in town today
