Geocache Description:

Located in the Slocum River Preserve near the town of Russel's Mills.

We've been by this preserve many times and decided to investigate it with the possibility of placing a cache here. It's a beautiful walk and meanders along the Slocum River and then crosses the street behind a large farm and continues through the woods on a loop trail. There are great views of the Slocum River and beautiful farms. If you have time walk the whole loop. We found the remains of an old cache here. It was so bad that nothing was salvagable. If you find it that's not our cache. We left the old one where we found it.
