Der Druidenstein ist ein geologisches Naturdenkmal. Du kannst diesen Earthcache sehr gut in Verbindung mit dem Multi GCT4XJ vom Team dilldappe aufsuchen.
Der Druidenstein ist vor ca. 1 bis 25 Millionen Jahren durch einen Vulkanausbruch entstanden.
The Druid Stone
The Druid Stone is a geological natural monument. You can visit this Earthcache very well in connection with the multi GCT4XJ of the team dilldappe.
The Druid Stone was originated approx. 1 to 25 million years ago by a volcanic eruption.
Der Basaltkegel bekam seine Form dadurch, dass sich flüssige Lava durch die devonische Grauwacke zwängte.
Bei N 50°47.723 E 007°54.608 kann man einen guten Eindruck davon bekommen, wie so etwas aussah.
Um den Earthcache zu loggen, macht ein Foto von (Euch und) eurem GPSr vor dem Druidenstein, auf dem euer Gerät und der Stein deutlich zu erkennen sind, und beantwortet mir folgende zwei Fragen:
1: In welchem Jahr wurde der Druidenstein unter Denkmalschutz gestellt?
2: Wie hoch ist der Basaltkegel in Meter?
The basalt cone got its shape by liquid lava squeezing through the devonian greywacke.
At N50°47.723 E007°54.608 you can get a good impression of the way it looked like.
To log this earthcache take a photo of (yourself and) your GPSr in front of the Druid Stone where your unit and the rock is clearly visible and answer the following two questions:
1: In which year the Druid Stone was placed under monument protection?
2: How high is the basalt cone in meters?
