Since this geocache has been unavailable for months, I'm archiving the listing to keep it from showing up in search lists and preventing proximity issues for new geocache placements so geocachers can once again enjoy this location.

At 842 ft elevation this cache is located near the path of the tornado that came through Dunwoody in the late 90's. The walk is short and flat but the trail is hard to see and you may have to make your own way through the deer hideout. If you are quiet and respectful as you make your way you might see some deer.
this is a traditional cache with small trade items and a log book. My daughter and I often go deer-gazing in this area and if you are quiet you might see them eating or more likely running. The cache is a rubbermaid container and its located at the start of a great big field. The best way to access the cache on foot is to start at the end of the road. Tilton Lane in Lockridge Forest subdivision that is....at the end of the road you'll see the trail between the trees. Follow this trail across the clear cut path and into the woods..... To find the cache you must first find the very large field but you don't need to enter the field.
