This is the third attempt to keep a cache near the northern trailhead to Shelf Road. It's 350 - 400 feet from the gate. It's a 4" x 6" plastic container, with a green top just like you would buy at a store.

A geocacher, one thousand smilies that she's got.
Then one night she was walking on this trail,
When she spotted a black and white tail.
Skunk that is, Pole cat, Pepe L'Pue.
Well the first thing you know, that skunks got no fear;
Pole cat said, "FOT get away from here."
Said OjaiValley is the place you out to be.
It ran after her all the way to Grid-e-ley.

No fooling!! The night I set this cache, I heard a noise in the avocado grove. Sure enough, a skunk, but this was was walking away from me. Then what sounded like two or three more started walking away on the other side of the fence.
