Geocache Description:

Cache can be found off the trail where the local fishermen go to fish. Keep you eyes open for Sea Lamprey apparently they are not wanted here.The trails are sometimes flooded in the early spring. After the flood the trails are dry.

Updated - April 14th 2008. Cache has been relocated because of the Great Spring Flood of 2008. We decide it might have issues again next spring so it's found a higher home. Hopefully not too many Sea Laprey made it up river.

Updated - November 2nd 2008. Cache has been move to a higher tree as the last log had bottomed out and the cache ended up back on the ground. Cache is now located 6 feet up, you can stand under it.

Updated - Feb 1 2012. Nature has taken it's course and the cache is now in the tall stump. Reach way up in the top of the stump. Remember the cache is easier to get to when the vegetation has all died down as there is stinging nettles in the summer. The area is likely to be flooded in the spring.

Updated - Nov 11 2017 Nature has progressed and the tall stump is no more. The cache has been moved to a new tree that appears to be sturdier. The area will be flooded in spring and the cache should be safe where it is. It is now a micro zip-tied in place.
