Geocache Description:

A series of magnetic Micro caches, of varying styles and sizes. All the caches can be done individually. The aim on these caches are to introduce the visitor to some areas of the city the may not have seen, and perhaps surprise the local cacher with something they may not have seen before.

Built in 1730 and Restored by York Civic Trust in 1998, the Mansion House is now worthy of its accolade as the premier building of the City of York. Mansion House home to the city's Lord Mayor during their year in office since the early 18th century. Indeed York was able to boast its own Mayor’s official residence 25 years before London. The house now holds one of the finest collections of civic silver in the country, including a solid silver chamber pot with matching whistle!

Obviously the cache is not in the house, nor on the house, but if you can see the house you are pretty close.
