A nice walk around the national water ski centre.
The purpose built water ski centre and SWSA HQ was opened in 1992 by Prince Edward and is one of the best water ski centres in Europe. In 2002 the centre hosted the national disabled water ski championships.
This area is very different today relying on leisure rather than industry, as it was home to Lochside brickworks that opened in 1902 and closed in 1974 the brickworks were situated on your right hand side as you enter from the main road.
