Silent Auction Info:
If you have something that is geocaching related that you would
like to donate for the auction, send an email to Lobotomy
(lobotomy21@gmail.com). Send a description of the item, a picture
of the item and a starting bid.
Items will be gathered and held onto at Champoeg. We will set up
tables in the RV building with pictures, descriptions and bid
sheets starting Friday morning and ending Saturday afternoon at the
potluck. All bids will be rounded up to whole dollars.
ALL PROCEDES WILL GO TOWARD FUTURE CHAMPOEG EVENTS!!!!

At Champoeg 2008, Soup and fractal are having a film festival.
Friday, July 25th, 8-10pm, in the RV building.
After seeing the Gong Show last year, we know how funny, creative,
and entertaining our fellow cachers can be. Seeing them explore
their creativity with video should be interesting :)

We plan on handing out some awards, like:
- Best overall video
- Most creative
- Best acting
- Best costumes, props, or effects
- Worst. Video. Ever.
I know this is more of an in-depth project for some of you, but I
also know that the creativity is out there. So get out there, and
start filming!
Shark Hunt for kids (Friday
only)
Find the Shark Master in the Adventurers Lounge (A7) and get ready
for a little treasure hunt!
GPS Accuracy Contest (Friday
only)
Friday only. Pay $1 (for the Champoeg fund) and get a flag. Then,
mark your spot. The more accurate, the better the prize! More
details at Champoeg.
Camp Decorating Contest
This year's theme: Mixed-up Holidays
Pick a random holiday, make one up, or mix a few together, then
decorate your campsite accordingly.
The best decorated site will win some sort of nifty prize!
Yurtville
Yurtville is the Champoeg living room. The centerpiece is
Sassquatch's yurt. Armando's bar, The Spirits of Champoeg, will be
setup there, tended by Yumitori & Leonata. If you have a drink,
please tip :) There will also be a keg, and a keg donation box.
While there is a lot of alcohol being served in Yurtville, please
do not let this discourage you if you are a non-drinker! Yurtville
has a great party atmosphere, and is the best place to get to know
your fellow cachers 24/7.
