Geocache Description:

A small Klip n Lock box.

The cache is placed just off Gib Lane in Gib Lane Wood at the Eastern side of Wythenshawe park. This is an ancient piece of woodland just west of which is the 'Mighty Ash' (see pic) with a girth of 6.36 metres. That apparently makes it officially an ancient tree - at least 150 years old. Note that although the lane is on google maps you can't drive down it as it's gated at the Altrincham Road end.
