Geocache Description:

If you are in the Bay this place is worth a visit, the views are just spectacular. It is a very easy and quick walk from carpark to GZ. You will be rewarded with stunning views of the beach and surrounding Islands. The best thing this cache is that if you time it right, you will almost certainly spot a whale or two.

Both the Humpback and Southern Right Whales pass by this headland on their way to and from winter breeding grounds. During May and June they can be observed heading north to warmer waters. In October and November the whales can be seen again as they head south for the summer.

The park has BBQ's and picnic tables to have lunch. There are a few resident bunnies too!

The cache is a small sistema container holding a log book, pen and toys ect for swaps.
