This is what I have to call a "Little piece of heaven right here in Shoal Bay". It is such a pretty little spot and my favourite place in the Bay. It is well worth the 10-15 minutes stroll along the paved walkway from the carpark. Walk around the boom gates and along the public access walkway past the Tomaree Aged & Disability Centre and your on your way.
Cache is a small/medium Sistems container containing the usual log book and pens. As with all of our "MADSTAR" caches when we place them we have geokids in mind so fill them with lots of new knick-knacky toys, stickers, play-doh and all sorts of goodies.
The actual headland location has public toilets, BBQ's (woodfire), beautiful lush lawns and big shady trees, as well as gorgeous little rock pools. Watch out for muggles as seems to be a local haunt for fishing along the rock walls. I really think a visit to this cache is sooooo worth it - if not just for the surrounds!
