Mount Laura Tower Letterbox Hybrid

Spotted this on the map a couple of years ago - always meant to investigate it and set a cache here!
There are a couple of small laybys along the road to the west of the cache where you can park - or you could possibly park at the large entrance to Bankhead Farm. When I set the cache it was pouring rain so I parked at the layby further north along the road from the farm because it was made of tarmac rather than dirt/mud! There are no paths to the tower, so you will have to find your own way to it, and there is a possibility that the slope may get overgrown with brambles in the summer. I couldn’t find any historical information about this tower other than it’s name and that it was built in the 19th century as a look-out tower. If anyone knows anything more about it I would be delighted if you could let me know, or if you would like to take a guess as to what it might have been used to look out for please feel free to mention this in your log. Unfortunately there is evidence of campfires and other activities in the area around the tower (someone has even left a M&S picnic bag containing what looks like empty takeaway cartons!), so please be careful rehiding the cache and make sure it is hidden from view. Co-ordinates were taken under tree cover, so you may need to use the hint. Please note that this is a LETTERBOX cache and the stamp and ink pad should remain in the cache at all times. The box is big enough for geocoins and small TBs.
