With the cost of pavilion rental, provided
hambergers/hot dogs, special pins and certificates for the Quest,
we are asking for a $5 donation from each person (Children are free
unless they were individually participating in the
DelaQuest)
This is the wrap-up event for DelaQuest 2008. What’s
DelaQuest 2008? It’s
this year’s Delaware Geocaching challenge. Our goal for this
year’s challenge is to get folks out to parts of Delaware that
are interesting or of historical significance.
The quest is open to all who want to participate. The
DelaQuest 2008 is sort
of like a geocaching scavenger hunt. If you have participated in
one of these before, it should all seem familiar. If not, no
worries. We’ve made the rules very simple. You can find out more

on our website, where you can also sign-up to participate in the
quest.
This wrap-up event is open to all, whether you participated in
the DelaQuest or not. We will be handing out the certificates and
prizes for DelaQuest 2008
and having our usual picnic, so when you sign up for the event
please let us know what sort of food or beverage you can bring.
This will be an outdoor event.
The pins are
in, the certificates have been printed, and the final cache has
been published! Congratulations to all the participants who braved
the high gas prices and completed the DelaQuest!!
We will have some extra pins available for sale
for those who did not get a chance to finish the DelaQuest but
would still like a pin, or if you would like an extra one for
yourself or a team member.
There are still some 2007 Delaware Geocoins available and will be
available at a special "event price" at the picnic. We will also
have a raffle for at least one of the very limited quantity and
highly coveted BLACK 2007 geocoins.
All profit from the club coin and pin sales and raffles of our
coins go to the club to help cover the expenses of events and
prizes.
