CONTAINER UPGRADED 07APRIL2020! Hider in a Provider...short hike but this trail might be overgrown during the summer and may have some thorny vines. Be careful of possible sharp aluminum.
Located on Eglin reservation. See below for reservation permit requirements. Small green plastic ammo can container hidden in plain sight. Container is approximately 12" wide and 6" tall. If you find a metal ammo can attached to a tree in the area...that is NOT it. Recommendation: Park in the sandy area off of the range road 213 and start the hike here: N30 38.142 W86 31.483 You may find something you never would have know was there! Cache is located inside a structure. Pieces of this structure are strewn about the area. DISCLAIMERS This cache is located on Eglin Air Force Base Reservation. An Eglin Recreation Permit is required ($10) An annual (Oct 1 to Sept 30) recreation permit cost $10 and can be purchased at the Eglin Natural Resources Branch, 107 Hwy 85 North, Niceville FL, 32578. (850) 882-4164. Permits may be purchased through the mail with a check or money order and a copy of a photo ID.
