The Wright Cache Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

eltee1: Well this one is done. New posted signs near part 1 force that one to be removed, NY Admin has some weird issue with part 2 and it has to be removed so that only leaves the final without a problem. The original goal of this one though was to show people how large this cemetery is by bringing them to little known areas of it. Oh well. Thanks to all those that hunted it and enjoyed it while it lasted.

Geocache Description:

The Wright Cache, a fairly easy multi-cache with a .30 cal ammo can final, that brings you around the historic Waterford Rural Cemetery.

Waterford Rural Cemetery

Waterford Rural Cemetery was founded in 1774 and is a 94 acre site, located in Southern Saratoga County. A beautiful cemetery with portions in slight disrepair located very near the Erie Canal. The cemetery is divided into two sections. A newer section North of the tracks and an older section close to Rt32 South of the tracks. You will visit both locations but will have to drive to both sections though as there isn't walking access from one part to the other.

There are several notable politicians, business leaders and military figures buried here.

The cache isn’t meant to be hard and are very typical cache hides. For this reason no hints are given. If for some reason there is a problem finding, hints will be added.

Please be respectful of the graves in the area, and keep in mind that no graves need to be touched to find this cache. Please be stealthy at all stages and return the parts as you find them. Make sure they are well concealed.

The area is only open from 8am until dusk so please do not attempt this outside the posted hours.
