Geocache Description:

Four boulders and a tree along a scenic country highway. A safe place to pull over and enjoy the views of the rolling hills.

This is the site of a now-archived cache by sloigo. Cache name is in honor of el Jim's log on that older cache "I felt like I was in a old cowboy movie. You know, when the rifle shot rings out and the bullet hits the rocks an ricochets and goes Zinnnnnnnngg". That scene played through my mind as I stopped today to place this cache: someone was having target practice down the valley.
Although there are a few modern buildings and shiny new fences around here, the rancher's way of life has barely changed in a century. Raising beef cattle is still the only way to make a living back in the dry hills, and cowboy is still a real job title. A well-trained horse for herding cows is worth more than a 4-wheel drive truck.
One thing which has changed is that you aren't likely to encounter any rustlers or outlaws, and no one is going to be shooting at you as you duck behind the rocks to reload ...

Cache is camo taped but is in plain sight from one side.
