Geocache Description:

Come and visit Queanbeyan. In fact, come and visit the Queanbeyan Visitor Information Centre. An interesting architectural structure built in 1925 as the town's third Municipal Council Chambers, it is worth a visit and a stroll around in the small gardens. Nearby are two very interesting sculptures - related to the ACT.

At or near the published coordinates

There is a monument to the Great War. The foundation stone was laid on AB/C/19DE.

Nathan provided a sundial in the year FGHI.

Just past the main war memorial grove, there is a plaque on the boulder. It was placed in the year JKLM.

At or near W1

There is a quote by a famous man. There are four lines in the quote - the number of words on each line from top to bottom are N,O,P,Q. (I wonder whether caching would suffice to meet this objective)

At or near W2

There is a statue of a famous man - the dates on the statue are RSTU - VWXY

Unfortunately the plaque on the left has been removed - it had quite a bit of very interesting information and history. You will have to look him up on the internet later.

Calculate the GZ

S 35° 21.(B+C+D-S)(P+T+U)(Y-P) E 149° 13.(F+S)E(H+I+N-X-Q-T)

Because you care about the enjoyment of future finders, you will be stealthy when retrieving the cache.

Also, please do not post any spoilers about the sculptures/statues.
