Geocache Description:

SEMI FOUR

SF “Countryside”

You WILL NOT find the cache container and log at the posted / listing coordinates!

This puzzle cache has been placed near the Rattlesnake West cache - hidden by acfunk. We enjoyed that cache and just wanted to put another out in the same area to increase the “appeal” and reward for cachers heading out this way. You can get a great view of Rattlesnake Mountain from this location and a nice view of the Columbia Valley looking to the south.

I have provided you with all the BACKGROUND information that is needed to solve the puzzle and find this cache. Enjoy this wonderful area! Why not place a cache out here too? When you think you have figured out the correct coordinates to the cache, go to this CHECK YOUR ANSWER link to see if you are right before you head out on the trail.

The cache container is a micro so PLEASE CONSERVELOG SPACE by signing your INITIALS AND DATE ONLY! Replace the cache container exactly as you found it. This is a fairly remote location, but, if there are any Muggles in the area PLEASE be careful not to divulge the cache location by grabbing for it when they are there and can see your actions.

BRING YOUR OWN PEN / PENCIL TO SIGN THE LOG!

TRIVIA INFO: Did you know that the highly recognized Peace Symbol is made up of two semaphore letters – “N” and “D”, superimposed one upon the other. The “N” was for “Nuclear” and the “D” was for “Disarmament”. Voila! One of the most recognized images of the modern world was created.

You’ll be able to find internet information sites about semaphore that will help you with this cache/puzzle. One is called the Semaphore Flag Signaling System ( SFSS). Don’t forget that there will have to be a “transition” flag between strings of alpha and number data.
