Geocache Description:

Park by the white gate.

This is a park. Although the white gate is usually closed it is very easy to climb over or under. If it's open you can drive right to the cache. Just West of the cache is the English Shooting Pit. If the white gate is open, the range is most likely open. The cache is not located at the shooting range. DUH! Do not attempt climbing the cyclone fence that surrounds the shooting pit. Obey the signs that tell you to stay out of the pit. You are in no danger if the shooting range is open. The range is indeed located in a deep pit and all firing can only be done away from your location. If the firing range is open, feel free to check it out after you find the cache, as it is open to the public and always staffed by safety personnel.
