This postage stamp of land hardly qualifies as a "park," but it
has been created for the public's enjoyment by members of the
surrounding community. The driftwood railing on the tiny bridge was
harvested and assembled by a local artist, and the concrete pieces
which comprise the bridge footings and stairs are remnants of my
own patio. You may fish here, or picnic in the shade of an
ivy-covered cottonwood, but be sure you bring your own camp stools
and a checkered tablecloth to lay out on the ground. There's no
seating unless you care to perch on what the lakeshore offers!
