Geocache Description:

Lake Waikareiti - A beautiful 1hr walk up from Lake Waikaremoana.

Take your lunch and enjoy this beautiful walk up to a lovely lake. There is a day shelter to eat you lunch in if the weather packs a sad! If the weather is good you can pick up a key from the DOC information centre and take a row boat out on the lake. There are plenty of seats along the track to rest (it's all uphill) I pushed our wee son up the track in his stroller so it's not too hard out. This was Taylor's first cache trip - hence the name.
