Avast ye! This ‘ere’s Cap’n Brownbeard, and I seem to ‘ave lost me treasure. (Aw-right: so the beard color’s as accurate as me memory. So what?) I left me treasure map at the posted coordinates: ‘tis up to ye scallywags to follow the map to me chest. When I planted this bounty, there were no geese nesting nearby, but if ye go in March or April, ye’ll need to keep yer eyes peeled fer ‘em. Also, watch fer snakes when it warms up.
So, me ‘earties, make sure to return me containers as ye found ‘em and put me map back in the first stage, or ye’ll walk the plank. And don’t ferget to come back here to report yer visit. Mos’ of all: ‘ave fun and beware of the reefs.
The other caches on this island list the terrain at three, so I am also. If you arrive by boat it is more like one and a half: If you attempt to swim, I’d put it closer to five (make sure to wear a bright swim cap). The best parking (and boat launch) for this has a $4 day-use fee: there is also free parking nearby.
