mmacgown: Stopped by to check on this one. It was still there, but the area had a lot of debris from Storm Sandy piled up right next to it. The area still is pretty bad with no evidence that Patty McGees or Coyote will open anytime soon. Too bad. I picked it up. Time to let it go.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Barnum Island Wharf! This is the 110th micro in my series of visiting the different towns and villages on Long Island. This cache is a magnetic keyholder. It is an easy park and grab. Parking can be found near GZ.

This cache can be found at Barnum Island Wharf. I've been down to this area numerous times and just love to visit here. There are a number of restaurants located on the water and it's a great meeting place to be in the summer for cocktails and music and sunshine. As with all of my micros, it contains a log only. So, please be sure to bring a writing utensil that can write on Tyvek. Please be stealthy when searching for the cache. Kindly return the cache to it’s original location.
