Sign of Certifiable Deception Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

offline.cacher: The general rule reviewers use to archive a cache is that the cache owner has been notified (through a log entry) by the reviewer and that no response has been forthcoming. This is the case with this cache. As a result it has been archived.
If the owner would like to discuss this issue, please contact me through my gmail address. Don't forget to include the GC code for the cache.

Thanks

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a microcache outside the baseball stadium of James Madison University. You will need a writing tool. Please be very careful about muggles, and do not expect to easily find parking when classes are in session.

Exercising the ability to see what is truly different in a situation is, arguably, one of the most rewarding aspects of geocaching. As more caches are found, cachers increase their capability to discern what is “just different enough” in a setting to identify the most likely hiding spot. But progression in these problem solving and analytical skills requires that some geocachers engage in activities that are rarely considered socially desirable qualities. To practice problem solving, problems must be created. To challenge analytical skills, deceptions must be fashioned. In short, hiders must be at odds with finders and for hiders to perform their role successfully, they must learn to mislead others into problems that are not of their own making. But in geocaching, hiders are finders, and finders are hiders, which is a feature which complicates things, doesn’t it? Perhaps it is this tension between hiding and finding that provides for the enjoyment of those caches that are merely signs of certifiable deception, or, perhaps not.
