Cache is located off the Appalachian on State Gamelands #217. Be sure to wear ORANGE during hunting seasons. You are looking for a lock-n-lock container with some small trade items. Trail is fairly easy till you get to the outcrop known as Bear Rocks (also known as Baer Rocks), where you will have to climb up the rocks. Please use caution while climbing rocks for they may be slippery. About 3 miles round trip from Bake Oven Knob parking area.
You will need to hike to the top of the rocks and follow your GPS to GZ. The cache is located near the edge on top, but not in a dangerous spot. We have done this hike with a 3 year old with no issues. No need to disturb any rocks. We have hiked here many times and have never seen a rattlesnake although please use caution when searching.
