This is a pretty quick park and grab. No spoilers or pictures of the cache please.
We came across this by mistake. We were going for a walk in a near by park and ended up parking here. Great little place for a quick picnic if you cross the street. Ensure the cache is placed back exactly as it is supposed to.
Built in 1867, the Hija Bridge was made of stone and had five beautiful arches. Before WWII, the Yanbaru trading vessels sailed into close proximity of the river and the area around the bridge flourished as a center of commerce. The area was also called Okinawa Yabakei and was famous for its scenic view. The Hija Bridge area was once specified as one of the eight best scenic viewpoints in Okinawa.
There is a small walking park nearby but be careful if you go into it.
Congrats to Earthquake for the FTF!
