Ceres Park in Mantua Township, with it’s many trails and small lakes, has always been a great place to relax and watch nature.
It is also a great place for Geocaching
A few years ago to celebrate my 150th find I placed a cache called “360 Degrees At Ceres” It had a good run but being a 5 part multi it became hard to maintain. Now being up to 600 finds I want to hide another cache in this beautiful wildlife preserve.
To locate this cache you’ll take the high road where you will get a nice “View From Above.” Bring a bike, bring a camera, bring the kids or bring a cache of your own and explore the park.
The hide is a in the normal fashion with no bushwhacking, although there is a steep hill nearby. And as with all South Jersey wooded hides Poison Ivy, thorns, snakes and other wild creatures might be present.
