Geocache Description:

The Posted Coords will not take you to egypt. You will have to decode the puzzle using the Hieroglyphics Picture. The first clue at the first waypoint refers to the EXTREME top left pointon the structure.

Having returned recently from an amazing trip to Egypt, I thought that I would give you a small lesson on Egyptian Hieroglyphics. Although I did not see any “Real” Hieroglyphics up close, there were all sorts of references to them in all the shops. Having also done a bit of research on the net for this site, I have also realized that there are a lot of “Dialects” in that several versions of a picture can represent the same character in the English language.

The Egyptian God Horus was one who should be key to your research for the right font to decode this puzzle. Using the top section of the crossword, find the phrase depicted by the blue squares. Put the phrase into this grid below and use the bottom section of the picture to figure out the First waypoint values. The letters have their numerical values shown. Note that different letters MAY have same values.  Please note that no more hints will be given without reference to copious amounts of Frosties.

These cords will take you to a very nice well kept park where a simple calculation or two awaits. Beware there are lots of Muggles walking their dogs here so be discreet.  From There the treasure hunt begins.
