A Fabulous spot to see the panorama of the South Waikato. NOTE: Gates only open 8am to 8pm.
See the fabulous murals up here, situated above the town of Tokoroa.
When Butterfly's caterpillars were still crawling we used to come to this spot with fish and chips and enjoy the view. Unfortunately the gate is now closed to vehicular traffic between the hours of 8pm and 8am.
Once just dull grey water tanks, now beautifully covered in "windows" on South Waikato.... come up and see for yourself.

7 June 2014... new pipe being installed. Access to original site is prevented by construction fence. Cache now located near main parking area.... if possible park in first angle spot to block others from observing you. Cache is black bison tube, hanging on the lowest fence strand with clip.
We bring you here for the amazing viewpoint, not known by many passing through the area, but a favourite with locals. Can be busy at times.
